With a 70 µm polyethylene top layer and inert white polypropylene and acrylic adhesive sublayer, Zone-Free easy-piercing sealing films allow direct sample recovery with single or multichannel pipettors and robotic probes. The adhesive-free zone above each well prevents adhesive fouling of the pipet tip or probe, ultimately minimizing the amount of adhesive that comes into contact with the sample. X-Pierce sealing films are 89 µm thick vinyl with aµm thick adhesive layer, designed for temporary protection from contamination and evaporation for samples in 96-well plates.
